VT Raw Count Map (Description)
This map illustrates the LEP counties of Vermont with pie charts of the top five LEP counties:
Addison County-Pale White Shading
Chittenden County-Light Yellow Shading
Rutland County-Pale White Shading
Washington County-Pale White Shading

We have defined LEP persons as individuals five years and over who speak a language other than English at home and who have indicated that they speak English less than very well (LVW). For each of the top five LEP counties, we have provided a pie chart that breaks down the top five languages spoken in the county (according to the total number of each language spoken) with the remaining languages in a sixth category called “All Other Languages”.
